I want to be able to keep my own personal log online, after I get service, I can input the actual mileage, the time/date, the price, and a description of what was done.

Instead of keeping all of these paper receipts/records, I would like to input everything online.

If you got the NAV package there is a scheduled maintenance service program in there as well. Haven't looked too far into it but it looks comprehensive.

In the meantime, my VIN still doesn't work on lexus.com; my insurance company keeps telling me I have an invalid VIN, and yesterday when I registered my car with the State, the VIN was not found in their system.

Not that it's adversely affected anything I don't think but I hate for someone (read "police") to start thinking this VIN is fake. I mean it's been 30+ days now....

Its not just the IS. I purchased my 06 GX470 on 11/12 and I can't register it either. I called Lexus and they said it takes about 6 weeks before the vehicle gets in their system. So I'm still waiting.

I received a reply from Lexus on Dec 16th to my electronic request for help with the VIN registration problem. Their note explained that the problem will be solved by Dec 21.
