LDYNRED, do you have a picture of the car with the trunk closed and a little further away? I would like to see the whole car from the side or a rear quarter angle with your sweet spoiler. I think I would like to get one if it looks that good.

Did it come painted from the dealer?

How much for the spoiler/paint/installation?

Yes, you need to drill three of them. There are three studs sticking out of the backside of the spoiler, fastened to the trunk lid with nuts.

Yes, it did come painted. I installed the spoiler myself. Took about 1.5 hours to do. Taking my time and making sure it was centered properly. I got the spoiler at a VERY GOOD discount since I work at the dealership. MSRP for the spoiler is $235.00.

I honestly think that the rear of the IS looks better without that kind of spoiler. I don't really care about lip spoiler. A wing spoiler with long LED brake light would probably look better, IMO. I don't think they have that for the IS.. yet.

I see your point Bra'. The only thing that would bug the crap out of me with that style wing spoiler is the fact that you would have two 3rd brake lights. When I got my GS, I had to add the rear wing to it, because the dealer I worked for at the time could not get all the options I wanted. So I replaced the rear package tray and got rid of the extra 3rd brake light.

yeah i like the look of this one.. i don't think i can stand a bigger wing.. the windows on teh IS is small as it is.. would block too much of the vision.. imho

I will let you know what the msrp on these items are since that is probably what I will be paying. I'm expecting $300 for the spoiler and $300 for installation.

Looks great in my opinion. I think it looks great without it too. If I get one it is going to be down the road because I have a few other things I would like to put on/in my car before that...tints, radar detector, maybe new rims???....we shall see
