Anyone else waiting for a Special Order to come in?
Just curious who else is chomping at the bit to drive their cars and are waiting for a special order. I'm at the point where I'd punch myself in the face if I could just get my car now. Ughhh... at least 5 more weeks of 4 cylinder ugliness.

Yeah. I just ordered mine today. IS350 BlueOnyx, Cashmere, NAV/ML, Park Assist, Luxury Pkg. At least you only have 5 weeks. I have 3-4 months! Will be worth the wait.

Yeh, still waiting. Ordered Oct 26, there about. Only thing so far from the dealer, is a confirmation the order was accepted at the factory, and the allocation sheet showing what car they gave up for ours.
Thought we could wait. Commercials during Monday night football makes us impatient.
They were telling us February delivery. I guess it still is, seems like a lot of other folks are getting there's. We waited to order when it showed up at the dealership. wanted to see it in real fife and drive it first. seems like a long time.
Toyota_F1: Tell me about the Ground effects kit. How much is the dealer hitting you for for it, and is the rear spoiler included?
I notice on the Sewell Lexus parts web page, you can order the front , sides and rear separate, looks like. The IS booklet shows it and says available December 2005. I guess that's why Sewell has it listed. I think our guy said $1300 for it, nothing written, I cannot remember, hell it was October seems like a year ago. I don't know what that included. He did say we could add it anytime with our order.

I can't really give you a good idea of the price since I get employee pricing but the Sewell prices seem pretty fair... they're less than MSRP but enough to keep the parts deparment in business (as if they need help). I'd go by those prices and try to get something similar although true dealer pricing is less.

I put my order in on October 20th. I havent heard anything from the dealership yet, but i cant wait for it to get here....

Yup, I'm an October 20th order person. Dealer called me last week and said that the factory acknowledged the order. Said the car will be worth the wait. Still probably February. Gag. Good thing I'm a patient guy. I ordered a 350 with all the good stuff. And maybe even some stuff that I'll never use but at least I can tell my neighbors "Why yes, it was fully equipped".

I ordered my IS350 on Oct. Tungsten Pearl with Sterling interior....Sport Package with every available options including ML and Nav. Also ordered body kit and five spoke wheels from Lexus of Japan. ETA some time in March.

The Special Order Wait
Ordered mine November 11th; IS350 - Chrystal White w/ Black - Luxury Pkg - ML - 18" wheels; don't expect to hear anything for a while yet but like everyone else, I can't wait!

Ordered mine late October
Smoky Granite Mica with all but Heahlight washers (it will never get dirty enought) and radar cruise (don't drive enough freeway where I want to 'get in line'). Wanted the ML so I figured it will be worth the wait...Plus I need to sell my 04 S2000 first. Hope to have it by Superbowl Sunday
Would like to get the December to remember discout...asked my dealer ...Lexus of Portland...and they said only if I take deliver before 1/3....which likely won't happen
