Default Hit a pothole bent rim in new IS 350

Hit a pothole tonight, bent the rim and damage tire. Does anyone know the price of a new 18" replacement rim?

How fast were you going when you hit the pot hole. Can you post pics? I think a new rim might run somwhere around 250$, ask your dealer. Check to see if it is covered under warranty (probably not).

I tapped the curb (no front parking sensor) and have minor damages/scratch to the front lower section (it's pretty low).

I do not think it is covered under manufacture warranty. I think the rim should be at least $500 each. The 17" on my AP2 S2000 is already about $500/each. From the dealer, a brand new set with tires is about $3500.

Is the spare tire a full size 18" rim??

If so just use that wheel so you dont have to buy a new one.

I don't understand why they wouldn't put a front one on there. We have the reverse camera, so we don't really need the rears. A front center is almost a necessity with that option.

I doubt it, the g-spider wheels are like $330 each. And $250 from one of the sponsors, forgot who. I doubt the stockers are more $$ than that

The stock wheel is around $250 each http://www.lexus-parts.com/partlist....19&ModelID=151

If the rim is not cracked you should be able to fix it. Ask your dealer for a recommended shop to fix it. It costs around $70 to $150 to fix.

I didn't know Lexus OEM wheels are that CHEAP!!!. I thought Lexus OEM wheels would generally be more expensive than Honda OEM wheels.

I know when I bought my car, the dealer offered me a wheel and tire warranty program that was $299 for 5 years. It covers any damage to you rims and tires. If anything happens to them, you just get it fixed or replaced, send them the bill and they will cut you a check for whatever you paid for the repair or replacement.

Sounds too good to be true. I wonder if other dealers offer this.
