I miss my car =(
So I had a small paint defect, so I brought it back to the dealer to get it taken care of...it's taken them 2 weeks so far, and they say the part they're waiting for will be in on wednesday. They originally told me it would take a week...I'm thinking the retouch got messed up and they had to replace the whole panel, and that's the reason for the long time.
Just felt like whining, as I dearly miss my car

i got a loaner...ES...I've been feeling that the fact they give you a loaner, actually makes them move slower on getting stuff done....probably just my paranoia... But when I think about it, my old honda dealer used to give me a rental car if it was a major repair.... and the fact that they had to pay for it, made it seem mutually beneficial for them to get my car back to me faster.

BMW doesn't give a BMW loaner car? Lexus has always given me a Lexus car for a loaner. I have driven the ES, IS and RX as loaners. I even heard that some people get the RX 400h as a loaner. That's cool! That would suck if you were to drop off your BMW and they give you a Ford Focus or Chevy Malibu for a loaner. WTF? No wonder Lexus always ranks #1 in the J.D. Power Customer Retention Surveys.

How about this... BMW didn't even give me a loaner last time I bring my X5 for warranty service ( damn window keep breaking down) . They told me because i didn't purchase the car through them ???? And 1 more thing, they didn't even wash the car for me after serviced it .. No more BMW for me u think BMW 4 years free service is a lot to consider buying their car???? Most of the service u need are oil changes anyway and u can do it urself...wait until after 4 years and the warranty is up, u gonna end up paying more than u would for ur Lexus or Acura
