What Offset?

19x8.5 should work just fine in the front with a +43. you can get a bit more agressive if you want. another member on the board runs a 10.5 with a +43 in the rear using a 275/30 rear tire. from what i have gathered most conservative offset wheels from the GS and Supras will work on the 2g IS.

I have a AWD, I'm not looking to go for a staggered look. Although it could be done, there is no point. Will 8.5 in the rear with 43 offset work?

AWD should same offset and wide of the wheel all around
for the RWD
should be able to fit +25~+30 offset
with stock 1/4 penel
but if you want more lip you will need some fender roll or over fender/ custom wide body to make it fit
i think RWD should be able to fit 9 (F)/ 10 (R) with right offset

well.... i dont plan to put wheels on my car
since my S14 already got me into alot of trouble
the offset i just kind think from the S14
cuz normally on the wheel site , they always want ppl to put on big offset wheels
like for my S14 work wheel said +35/+40/+37
but i put on 17x8 +9 (F) 17x9 +7 (R)

Also offset doesnt affect AWD, rolling diameter does.

i just don't understand why in one of the review with lexus designers, they asked if they can put the 18" staggered on the awd and they said explicitly *no*. i am still wondering, coz' when i get my ls600h (if that happens), i want to put on staggered...

of cuz you can do the RWD set up, but the its just wont run as smooth as RWD / rwd set up
you can play the tick on the tire
but it just not going to work that well, like putting S14 wheels offset on a Skyline GTR
