Question Tips.

I would like to put on larger tips (like the ones on SC430 or G35C) without messing with the muffler/exhaust system.
jlin101,
The tips that came with the kit are longer and are angled.

I hope this pic will help answer any questions that anyone has had about the difference in the tips. The tips come off with no tools needed. Just grab it with two hands, make sure the exhaust is not hot, twist it side to side while pulling out toward you. To install, just use a soft rubber mallet and make sure you line up the notches on the tip and muffler pipe. I'm not sure if you can order just the tips though.

Varok,
Mind if I ask how much they are charging to install? Please post pics.

LDNYRED, thanks for the pix. To my eyes, it seems the oem tips are angled a little up and down, and the new tips are angled to the side (based on the notch), is that true? Also, is there a smaller inner tube that fits over the muffler's outlet?

jlin101,
Your dead on as far a the angles.
Only the tips go over the muffer outlet.

Maybe we can get together for a photo session after you get yours installed. Where in Cali are you? We are in NorCal in San Bruno.

Was hoping to take a bunch of pics this weekend, perhaps going to the dealership and taking with/without Ground Effects but the weather is not cooperating. Will definitely post as soon as I get them though. I know it helps the decision making for alot of people
