Has anyone figured this out? This really annoys me too because sometimes I'll be using the bluetooth on the phone and will turn off my engine when I get to my destination, thus dropping the call! It'd be great if I could keep the ACC on but turn the engine off. Similar to turning the key from ON to ACC on "old school" cars heheh.

This definitely works. As long as you push the starter button while the car is still in Drive, it will shut off the engine but not the electronics. You can then shift it to Park and take your foot off the brake.

You will need to push the button again (with your foot off the brake) to turn the car off completely before it will let you lock it. Otherwise, if you get out and try to lock the car, it will make the same long beep noise that it makes if you try to lock your keys inside.

i always turn the AC off leaving any car, if you start with the AC on I would think youre stressing the starter more since it has to crank the engine and the AC is trying to get some power
