Default CD/MP3 Player text scrolling?

For those of you who do not have nav, is it possible to make the text scroll when playing mp3s or cds? When the name of the artist or track name is too long, I see this little arrow on the right, so I think it might be possible to make the text scroll? I've checked the owners manual but couldn't find anything related to this. Thanks

I think you have to press and hold TEXT to see the rest of the title information.

Anyone know of a way to make the TITLE display the default? I almost always use CDs with MP3/WMA tracks, and every time I start the car I have to hit TEXT 3 or 4 times to get the display where I want it. Wish I could save that setting somehow.

Just got back from the dealer and I asked the same thing. Tech said that the IS is the only Lexus that will not remember which display mode you are in when you start the car

so how can we see the rest of the title? Hitting Text will only switch to different mode view (track, artist, file name, etc.) Holding it won't do anything.

nope, the 2is i believe only has su pport for ID3V1, not v2 which allows longer names.

essentially it has to do with ISO9660 standards
