Others who didn't know about the modification via telephone showed up, but didn't even bother to test drive once they saw the mod. What kind of mod did Joe have? Same kind of wheels/suspension mod like our brother viet658. During turns, Joe's front wheels were rubbing (against something) too.
bottom line, modding a car is a habit and it costs money, it's not an investment. and you never sell the car with mods if you want to get more money back. that's a known fact

Hey Viet. Can you post a pic that looking straight at the front to back angle to see if the wheel is sticking out or not at the front wheels. I wonder at that +38 offset , will it make the wheel and tire sticking out at all.

Looks good, I have similar rim sizes, so thanks for being my guniea pig....lol. I have 19x8.5 +38 and 19x9.5 +44....yes Supra size if anyone noticed. I would be curious to see side pics too. Pakeo, I'm not sure what you mean. I sold my Supra fully moded, he knew i took care of the car and practically begged me to sell the rims with the car. And you cant compare your friend to everyone as we dont know their specific situations, i.e. how much lowered, fender rolling. Yeah, it might turn off some 60 year old guy....however, I bet if you had your grandfather try and sell it, it would go down differently...it may be the youth factor. Finally, most people lease their cars...so most people dont care....well just trying to keep this fresh so we remind you about those pics Viet....Thanx

So does anybody know the correct offset?

Does anybody know if 19 x 8.5 +40 F and 19 x 9.5 +45 R will rub for IS ?

any idea when this might be for sale?

if this original starter of the thread has stock suspension and it rubs, does it mean the IS 350 cannot be lowered much?

the reason why he's rubbing is because the has the incorrect offset for the front wheels.
