I currently do mostly town driving with frequent stops at lower speeds, auto is much easier, esp. if I need to answer pager, cell phone, etc. If I did alot of highway/interstate driving, would definitely go with the manual.

How do I vote for neither? I would like a sequential manual transmission more than any other option; something similar to Ferrari's F1 paddle shifters or BMW's SMG system. The Lexus version of the "trip-tronic" auto with a torque conveter is a distant second to a true "manu-matic" direct-drive tranny, whether it's driving the rear wheels or all all four..
