Yeah that's bad. I'm really young-looking too, almost high school, (even though I happen to have a pretty solid income, especially for my age) so I don't get taken seriously anyway. However...
They were trying to sell my friend a 330i with an MSRP of just under $43,000 for what equated to being about $52,000 after taxes, bringing it to $47,000. They said they couldn't take $1200 off that price. Give me a break. That's still $4000 over MSRP, and the 330i isn't really a NEW, new car (been out since about the 2006 GS's came out).

) lol. Anyways, I was test driving a 330i about a month ago and the salesman and I were talking about the 335i coming out soon. He asked what my time frame on purchase was and I told him about 5-6 months unless I can get a good deal on a 330i when the 335i's arrive. He proceeded to tell me that "BMW does not deal on their cars and my only chance at getting a good deal would be to buy a demo car or a service loaner" WTF? I don't want some stupid demo car or a service loaner that has had the crap beat out of it! I should have told him on the spot that he was full of S@!T! I left and the next weekend I went to Lexus, drove the IS and decided that was the car I wanted!

well... someone on the forum posted something about their accelerator getting stuck but they had a 250 so maybe its only for those people. in my area some of the 350's got recalled (including mine) because of a seat belt problem but it wasnt a big problem. hopefully whatever they might recall the 350's on isnt too big of a problem
