so far lexus has refused to replace my passenger seatbelt despite the fact that the driver's one already failed and could not be fixed!!! Stupid lexus canada hasn't issued a recall yet so even though its blatently obvious I have one of the affected cars they ain't doing squat (if you'll pardon the double negative)...grrr.
Hmm, can anyone tell me what the "IS 350 BE262" part means on the recall notice on the previous page of this thread? Is that 350s starting with that letter/number combination or is the only relevant part the 20000....numerical range?

Yep. After the throttle recall on my AWD, nothing was said about a free bee. But, a week or two (3) later, I got the ipod along with a letter kind of apologizing for the inconvenience. Not a bad touch!
Now my car has to go back in to get the two seatbelts replaced. The driver's side has already been replaced but dealer said that they wanted to be sure the latest so they are replacing both.

This has happened to me too. What finally worked was just jerking it several times before it loosened up. I bet a TSB comes out for this eventually.
