Default Is this a decent deal or what?

I just ordered an IS250 AWD with Nav / ML / Park Assist / Headlight Washers / Lux.

The dealer is splitting the difference with me, between MSRP and Invoice across the car. MSRP comes to $41,080 (including dest) and the Invoice is $35,723. The actual sell price is $38,406 + tax / title / etc.

I shopped around and most dealers wanted $5000 up front just to order the car. This dealer took $1,000. Other dealers were only interested in literally forcing what they had on the lot or was coming in on their "future" allocations. In all cases they all told me to give up on the ML unless it was special ordered. I have yet to see a 250 with the Luxury option even in a future allocation.

I'm using my own financing at 5.5% / 72 months, and only the $1K deposit down.

Is this reasonable for a car that will take 2 to 3 months to receive???

Just wondering...

Hoffman Auto, Hartford. I bought my 03 Audi A4 from them as well and now I'm trading it up to the 250.

Before tax. The 350 in New England is great for someone with a second (awd) car available to them, at least here in New England. I hate being stuck and I depend on the reliability of awd in crappy weather. Since I've gone Quattro, I'll never go back to rear wheel drive as my primary vehicle. Besides, the 350 loaded is easily in the 48's when well loaded.

No, he's right, a loaded 350 is about $48k. Mine has everything but the PCS (which is about a $3300 option if I remember correctly), and it was $44,929 MSRP.
