I'd probably like those colors if I were a 50 year old woman.

Ouch!! And what's wrong with having the same taste as a 50 year old woman, might I ask? (I'm 43, and have a BWB, so you're not far off, actually!)

No offense to the picture taker but those pictures make Desert Sage look like the best color in the world! BUT when you see it in person, it's a totally different story. For potential Desert Sage buyers, make sure you check it out in person first before buying it! Then again, this is just my $0.02.

Did you have cake, ice cream, party hats and favors? We do for our cats birthdays. Such is the spoiled life of surrogate children!

I saw a Desert Sage IS at the Mega meet a couple of weeks ago. It's definitely a rare color for an IS. I didn't really care for it though.

In all honesty, I was thinking more of the desert sage color when I made that comment, as similar colors seem to be the standard choice of bleached blonde, overweight female realtors in this area.

I'll give the BWB a pass.

Default similar?

i'm on order for a BWB/BBM. i posted a pic earlier on the "BWB..." thread. i finally found some halfway decent pics of what i want to share. yes, paeko and some others really rag on the BWB. if you've seen either of these cars IN PERSON, they look so similar to the IS BBM. there's quite a few GTC's that are sky blue in hollywood. love it on the ferrari. so hey, why now a lex? anyone else see any similarities?

Ditto, in person the DSM is absolutely stunning. But...it seems like such a more mature color, i.e., one suited for older generations. Doesn't suite the sporty IS.

Hey, akhbhaat, thanks for the pass! It did cross my mind when I bought the BWB that it was a "girly color." But my macho contractor husband, who only drives pickups and diesel trucks, actually loves driving the IS and he doesn't find it a threat to his masculinity, like I thought he might. Well, heck, it's not pink! I was always a dark blue car girl all the way, and then realized what a pain it is to keep them looking good, since every single scratch shows. There aren't too many light colorchoices for the IS, since a silver car always looks to me like it hasn't been painted yet....!
