Man you americans get it good. Not only is the IS cheaper for you, you get WAAAAY more selection! I am looking at purchasing a Crystal White IS come spring. I wanted the following:
Sports Package + Nav and ML
Cashmere int
Aero Kit +Spoiler
ISP 18" wheels

Doesn't sound like I am asking for too much now does it? So I finally popped by the dealer while making some christmas shopping rounds. I come to find out the following:
A: Sport Pack cannot have Nav or ML audio in Canada
B: Crystal white cannot have Cashmere int in Canada

This sucks the big one. I have no Idea why they would limit this. It truly makes not sense to me. I did finally get to test drive one ( a loaded lux model) and have to say I am in love. I am pretty much stuck getting a lux model as nav is a must! None the less I am still quite pissed I can't get the one I want. A am now rethinking. If I am stuck with a dark interior, should I go Crystal with black int , or Granite with sterling int? I also am not keen on the woodgrain, but I am sure there will be some carbon fiber dash kits out soon.. What to do..what to do....

Don't feel alone, TX options suck too.

I bought one anyway. I didn't want any options. The base model has all that I need and more, but TX packages forced me to spend another grand on 18" wheels that I don't find that attaractive. Oh well, It should be in by Friday. I can't wait

Can't you just cross the border and buy one in the states then take it back up with you?

Sure, but you'd have to pay Exchange + PST + GST + Duty. Not worth it.
