Question... I thought you were NOT supposed to wax a new car for at least 6 months or so to let the paint cure, harden or whatever. Yet, I see a lot of guys here on ClubLexus like yourself doing a complete process on their relatively new cars. What about this 6 month "waiting period" theory with a new car? A bunch of BS or what?

By the way, your IS looks friggin great man!!!

That's old school. The paint process is different these days. The paint is baked on and can be waxed right away. Your dealer will most likely wax the car before giving it to you. So don't worry about it and have at it.

Your car looks amazing! It's really shiny. I will have to find some time and wax my car sometimes.

Only picture I see that has swirls is the first picture. And it had this as the description: "After first ZFX+Z2 application while waiting to buff out".

Both look great!

Cheers,
Kermee

i just applied menzerna on my car... has anyone compared zaino and menzerna to see the difference? i also recomend getting an orbital buffer, and i mean a REAL one not the 30 dollar kind you see at pepboys. Made the process alot easier.

Sp what's this "permanent" wax stuff I saw at the dealer.......I touched it and it was super slippery when compared to a non "waxed" car next to it.
