Don't forget the bigger brakes, which means more safety.
Also, there is a cabin smog sensor that helps decrease pollutants inside the 350.
EDIT: One more thing. Don't you treat/percieve a car differently when you see 350 instead of 250? It's almost like you're making a statement.

From the point of view of the other drivers (besides yourself), the only difference between the two is the number 2 or 3 for 250 or 350, respectively. If not standing behind your IS, no one can really tell the difference.

I like NINEzERO's response....it's perfect! "Help, I don't have a clue!" LOL!
If one cannot determine the difference between a 250 and 350, I am pretty sure it is illegal for you to buy either as they could be dangerous to your health. You better check with your local dealer there Stngd 1909.

If your looking for a very nice car to drive around get the 250. If you have that little demon in you that wants the speed and an extra 4 grand, go with the 350. I test drove both of them, and they are both great cars, but the speed and power of the 350 just puts a smile on my face.

Now the 350 with the NAV....someone told me that you can only play the DVD mode when the car is in park and the E-brake is on? Is this true......if so is there anyway to by-pass it?

Yes, you need to be stopped to play DVDs. From what I've read, it is the speed sensor, not the park or emergency brake that lock out the screen.
There is a thread in this forum that details how to bypass -- it requires cutting and splicing wires behind the navigation system. I believe it is against federal law to show video programming in view of the driver, and I don't even want to think what kind of award a jury might hand out if you mow someone down while watching a film.

I second what Bichon said.
It's one-thing to bypass the speed sensor for some of the other features which are disabled when the vehicle is in-motion (e.g. phonebook, Caller ID display, etc.) but to bypass the speed sensor for playing DVD's on a screen which is visible to the driver is highly advised against. But yes, the side-effect of disabling the speed sensor on the NAV to get at other features while the car is in-motion, you'll be able to play DVD's without the car having to be parked assuming you have a vehicle with the Mark Levinson package.
Cheers,
Kermee
