btw, do you think 35% is too light?
I am thinking about 15% in the back and 50%(I dont even know if they have 50%) for the fronts.

Dr C - i think i will like the 35%. do u have any regrets such as going lighter or darker? and also, does the 3rd brake light in the rear window get covered by the tint or does it go around it? i hope it covers it and if it does, did the installer have to remove the third light to install the tint? thank you for your pic btw.

I've had 20 and 35% tint on all windows except the windshield on cars in the past and at night I always felt like I was driving from inside a dark cave. Never could get used to it. If I had a 06 IS, I definitely would get an eyebrow across the top of the windshield since Lexus got cheap and decided to save a few nickels by eliminating the eyebrow. The IS when viewed head on is just begging for an eyebrow. Just has an econo box look without it.

And in Florida, i'm pretty sure you can have 20% on the back windows and 35% on the front windows. I did 5% all the way around, done this with every car, haven't had a ticket for it yet. And believe me, I've been pulled over enough times for other reasons, they just never questioned my tint.

My 250 is AWD. The tint people did tint the whole rear window. Looks much better that way -- I specifically requested that they NOT cut around the brake light.
And, 35% is as dark as I want -- all of the advantages of tinting but still have good night vision.
