And all that time I thought they were the same... Thanks!

Thanks, the fact that this will work on ALL ISs is what I needed to know.

Default Not?

Hmmm, I just got the following response from Sewell:

"The sport package is required for plug-and-play installation. Without
the sport package, custom wiring will be needed to supply power to the
sill plates."

Nuts.

Thats not true if you have an 07! As stated many time before in this thread. I know, I have them and do not have the sport package yet have an 07.

If you need more reassurance, here's another thread where they talk about it and that it is PnP.

I thought I read somewhere on CL that it depended on what model and package you bought. For example, if you paid for the Sport Package, it is suppose to be a Plug and Play install. If you bought the base package IS, the connector may be not active? DOn't know for sure but I think I read it in an earlier thread.

If you have them then they should light up. Unless, you have the sport package which only says Lexus but doesn't light up. And the X and luxury package has the ISPs but please correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

That's true for the 06 2IS's. If you have the base model, it will require some wire splicing. But for the 07, all models are PnP. Just have the dome lights come on when you open the door and they will light up.

I got these in from Sewell today. I have 07 sport package, so installation was easy.

Well since you have an 07 model yes it will be PnP. Mine is 07 base and they light up by plugging it in.
