Take door apart when tinting??

Therefore I have a tiny (about 2-3 mm big) screw driver mark on my door. I could have asked them to replace the door panel, but since I knew the person who owns the place just settled with a free tint. Other than that tint looks good 15% all around.

To remove the 3rd brake light
(a) Disengage the 4 claws and disconnect the high
mounted stop light set as shown in the illustration.
(b) Disconnect the connector and remove the high
mounted stop light set.

that's why i ask the guy before i sent the car there.
i guess if you have the right tool you would be fine. they've done couple IS without a problem of not taking the door apart.

just to add my experience: I had my windows tinted last night (35% all the way around) and the dude didn't touch the door panels or the brake light and did a perfect job. I couldn't find any issues with the job at all. I will have to admit it was dark outside and I was looking under artificial garage lighting. Anyways, just my 2 cents.
