IS 350

I can not wait anymore, no dealer in SF bayarea have a IS350 equipped with sport package, I am thinking to get someting else for now even thought i can get the car with employee invoice price, or maybe wait for 07 to see if there is any new color

I really lucked out somehow...

I ordered my Sport Package back in October and was expecting a Feb/March delivery but somehow, somewhere Lexus Canada was able to locate and deliver mine last week.

We rejected our first sport pack/nav car a couple of weeks ago (very bad body kit fit) and our new sport pack ML/nav will be in next week.

I was very lucky as I could of ordered one and would of had it in a month OR take the one they had on the lot!! I was going to order so I could get the colors I wanted (SGM, Grey int) but the dealer could move $2G with the one on the lot so I went with that (SGM, Black int). Actually very glad I did that now. Got the spoiler and winter tires/rims installed and had it in 3 days!! Usually you guys in the U.S. have a way easier time getting things like this so I guess I'm very lucky.

i forgot how much more is for the sports package but at the time i just don't think it's worth it.

i believed it was 2 g more for the package??? what will be the resale value with the package??

They should be coming by month's end or the beginning of feb. my "special order" was just a preference order because it was already scheduled (finally!!!!) to be produced for our region. Too bad residuals dropped =x slightly higher payment for my lease -_-

when you special order your car do you have to pay for the car first?? or just down payment??

Down payment of $500 to $1,000 depending on dealer and your relationship with them.

I originally was going to have to wait 3 months for a sports package here, but ended up going to a dealer out of my region and they located one in less than a week.

How does the car with sport package drive compared to the car with Luxury package? Is it a much stiffer ride kind of like the BMW 330 w/sport package? I just ordered one with the luxury package because I was concerned that sport package would ride too harsh on bumpier roads?

Any feedback from owners with sport package?

I just put $500 using a check. It was cashed (same day lol) and put into an account and I received a receipt and copy of my order (although just a preference order) and given a rough estimated date.

Wow. 51% of IS350 survey respondents have the Sport package. I find that VERY hard to believe.

I also find it very hard to believe....unless of course the only people responding are the people who did get sports package...

Isn't the sport package readily available in CA, i think most of the active members here are in that state. there are no sport packages available in the midwest that i am aware of but not a lot of us either.
