Don't bother buying a car cover, most will leave very fine scratches overtime as you put them on and remove them. It's mostly because of trapped dust that brushes against your paint every time you take it on and off. Over time, you'll start noticing these really fine marks all over. Just keep the paint waxed and remove any tree sap ASAP with a good quick detail spray and a microfiber would be my advice ![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
If your that worried about the tree sap, i know you'll be freaking out if you see fine scratches all over from using a car cover all the time

My new ISC sits out side at work and the area get lots of dust from trucks driving by. Do any of you use an outdoor waterproof cover? I was looking at this one

The top one. The price seems ok and it looks pretty good also has a bag and cable and lock with free shipping too.

When i didnt have a garage a car cover was needed where i lived.
I bought the car cover from e-bay which is a lot less expensive than the dealer.
The same mfg. that makes the OEM car cover also made the ones that i bought from e-bay.
To my experience the car cover works great! It came with cable and locks.
I would definitely purchase a car cover if you want to keep you carr in top shape.
Good luck!

If your car isn't completely clean when you put on the car cover, if it moves around a little with wind you can get some fine scratches in your clearcoat, I'm pretty sure that's how I got the swirl marks on my roof, but luckily it's a white car and it's only noticeable when I wash it.

So I tend to travel a lot and sometimes can't bring my car to the airport where it is under cover. So I was thinking about getting a car cover, last time I came home my car was covered in leaves and some sap, not to mention about 12 tons of bird crap.
What car cover would you guys/gals recommend? Looking for something east to put on and take off that will fold up easly to fit in the trunk. Waterproof and lets some air in so it can breath under there.
Cheers!
