Okay, since no one else has asked Ill bite.... Why exactly do you claim that this car costs 1500 a month to run?

lol ok i might have stretched it a bit but the expenditure was just that frustrating... actually it costs me on avg 3,500 to 4,500 Saudi Riyals a month, that's equivalent to 933 to 1,200 USD... it exceeded 1500 from time to time.

Normally that money was spend on fuel (what the IS300 consumes in a week is just a bit more than what the CL600 gulps in a day, its that bad) and the "occasional" flying off fuel cap, the worn out rubbers, the jammed tv tuner, the burnt chip, the computer reset to a "known state" which clears out some electricity problems and for some reason restiffens the suspensions to brand-new condition, the door vacuum pump fixing along with the door hinges... & the list keeps going on and on.

keep in mind that no one other than the dealer touched my car, so that gave me a full year warranty on every item/issue fixed!!! the weather here in Saudi Arabia is also pretty harsh witch doesn't help either... plus that there is no garage at my place (actually it's the company's accommodation) and the heat dries the sealing in no time! for example the sealing around the door windows cost 533 dollars... each!!! it's just rubber!

'03 Camry. Love the car , still keeping. Nothing more reliable than a Camry.

But I deserve this now , been driving the Camry for 3 years now and before (took it for my brother) , and before that totalled a '02 Corolla.
That I had taken from my dad.

SO basically the IS will be the first that is actually mine.

Got an IS300 (Middle east specification) SGM , sterling , Nv , ML , Park Assist.
Should be delivered in a month.

'01 Civic Sedan. "Champions Edition". Kate. She was a decent car, no Lexus, but decent. 9000 km's in 13 days last fall. Faired pretty well.
