Which Vehicle Did Your IS250/350 Replace / Previous Rides?
#1272
New member here. I got my 2011 IS 250 Luxury Package this past Tuesday (Feb. 25). It replaced a 2011 Audi A4 Prestige. While I absolutely love the IS (I've wanted one since high school), there are a lot of things I miss about the A4:
- Blind side assist on the side mirrors
- Bang & Olufsen
- Compass on my rear view mirror
- DVD playback
- Song tracks displayed like an iPod screen so I know what song is coming up next
- Song tracks displayed between MPH and RPM gauges
- Back up sensors beeping when I'm close to an object
- MPH displayed as a needle and digitally
- When I wanted to change lanes, all I had to do is slightly touch the turn signal lever, and it would signal just long enough for me to change lanes (my Owner's Manual says the IS can do it but I haven't been able to so far)
Things I don't miss:
- Cost of out-of-warranty repairs
- Oil leaks
- Over-sensitive brakes
- Outdated navi (almost every POI was closed)
I've been doing a lot of reading on this forum. I'm so happy I finally have an IS!
