Default Just got IS 250 SGM - Daytime running light

I just got my IS 250 SGM today in the Bay Area, CA. I didn't realize that the new IS 250 has the automatic daytime running light that we cannot shut off. I thought it is the Canada thing. Is there any way we can shut it off? Is it kind of funny that driving with the light on in the sunny california.

It's a C-BEST option. DRL's can be turned off by the Lexus dealership. If the dealership has no clue how to turn it off, give them this:

How to turn off DRL

Cheers,
Kermee

P.S. Congratulations on your purchase!

I read somewhere that if the DRL is disabled, the blue hi beam light inside the instrument cluster stays on. I wonder if that's the case here.

I had the DRL's turned off on my 06 GX470. There is no blue light illuminated from the instrument cluster. It is on when the high beam headlights are turned on like it should be.
Just have your dealer turn them off under the LPS area.

How much you get the car for? What options did you get?
