I was trying to see if I could get a IS250 w/ Nav+6MT but I'm told by the dealer that that isn't an option. Is this true? It's kind of frustrating since you can do it in the TSX/TL/G35/3 series. I guess I could always go for an aftermarket nav but it seems like the IS is still a little too new for most aftermarket shops to do a decent installation.
Any thoughts?

I'm got a 6MT with Nav in November. I'm not completely certain if the car was ordered specially or if they were merely able to get ahold of one. I had told them of my intentions to have the car as I got it in the Summer of 05.
At the very least, you can order it from the factory, however it will take at least 90 days to get it - plus you may not get anything off of MSRP. If your current car is managable for another three months or so, I highly recommend ordering - the NAV is very well integrated and makes the interior look that much sweeter.

Mine is on order, about another month for delivery. I ordered it in November, and the 90 day guideline is usually pretty close for Lexus factory orders. With the demand for the IS maybe another 7-10 days wouldn't be unthinkable.
But you can absolutely order the 6MT with Nav/Lev (either or).

I'm in the same boat as AgntDrake...looking for an IS 250, 6MT, with Navi, and Sports Pkg.
Thanks in advance!

But I am very curious...what other packages/options did you get for this <$30k price? It seems like an awesome deal.

I just talked to another dealer and he said I couldn't get the 250 w/ a manual transmission and the Levinson sound system. I'm kind of scratching my head. Does anyone know of a dealership in the Bay Area that will do this?

so, let me get this straight...
NAV with ML is not an option for 250 MT or AT but only available on the 350?
can anyone verify?
I tried "building my lexus" on the official website and NAV with ML is not an option for the 250.

by what is in production for your region. A special order is required to get a different set of options. Ironically I just received a Tungsten/Black IS250 with manual, Sport Pkg. and Nav/ Mark Levinson that was special ordered but they got something earlier which happens occasionally.

My car will be here next week.
I can assure you that you CAN get a 250 MT with ML and Nav. Now, mine is a factory special order, it's the only way we get our vehicles. And working for Toyota/Lexus Financial, it's pretty easy for us to do custom orders, but nonetheless we can't get anything different than is available across the nation. It is nothing more than the willingness of the dealer to complete a special order. I do know that the factory standard productions packages will include, typically, the sport or lux packages just becuase of logistics and putting out similar packages across the nation. If a dealer says that a 250 MT w/NL and Nav isn't possible, tell him to his face he's a liar and ask him why he's not willing to special order it as you want (with deposit of course) and wait 90 days. I ONLY ordered ML, NAV, the rear spoiler, and XM as options on my car. Everything else is the base IS250MT. Just how I wanted it.

Just special order it from somewhere else. Your dealer is a tool. My order is for a 250 RWD manual with nav/lev, luxury package, headlight washers, park assist.
