Bnet504 I also heard the same thing about Wilde Lexus of Sarasota, Florida dealer. However I emailed him and he said that he could do the IS350 for 34,900 with an added doc fee of 500....That brings the price up to 35400....Thats only 600 less than other dealers are selling it for so I dont understand how 2,000 off MSRP is valid...Im better off driving 5 mins to my dealer here instead of 10 hrs to florida for 600 off....Yes if it was 2000 off MSRP then added TT & LI would definitely take the ride. Let me know if anyone hears of any other great deals here in the south. Im def not rushing buying a car. Ive been without one since the day I evacuated the saturday before the storm hit, which was monday. At the end of this month it'll have been 5 months....=(

I'm loving my IS250....the power is fine for the street. As long as you keep it in the revs and in the powerband it goes really nice on the curvy roads. If you're looking to roast people from stoplight to stoplight, this definitely isn't your car.......but if you want a nice balance of power and handling with a 6MT transmission, it's a good powerplant. IMHO it was worth getting less HP to have the manual transmission.....I'm glad I made the choice to go with the 250 instead of the 350.

I like the IS250 for what it is, which is a daily driver and good enough to pass those who choose to drive under the limit. But, on the other hand, it is slow due to it weight. But, needless to say, it's comfortable and just a great daily driving car which is probably good enough if you're not looking for more power. Looking for more power will lead you to regrets and unsatisfaction. Save your money and purchase the IS350 if you're that worried about power, and in the mean time, just buy a second hand car for now that'll last you long enough until you can afford the 350.
