Default Lease quotes for 250 AWD

Anyone have quotes on this, I'm looking to get a AWD, with Nav, and Lux.......I would love the ML, but I'll probably have to wait another 6 months

Lease quotes vary from market to market and on your credit worthiness. Other than the Lease Calculator on the Lexus website, best way to do it is have a dealership run a credit check on you to see which money factor you'll fall into. Do a search in this forum for "lease" to see what most people fell into. Lease rates do not differ between the IS 250 AWD, IS 250 RWD, IS 350's at the moment and whether it has NAV or not. (One person claimed the lease rate differed if the vehicle had NAV or not but I claimed bull).

Cheers,
Kermee

genearch,

Nice catch. Thanks.

It must be market to market dependent then. Up here in Seattle, residual for an IS with or without NAV going through LFS/TMCC is the same percentage (36/15K - 60% or 36/12K - 62%). Must be different in SoCal. (Just like your money factor rates in SoCal are 100 POINTS lower than ours up here).

Cheers,
Kermee

the price of the car matters.....not which options it has.

if you're in California...try these guys...at least check the site.

look at post #14 on this thread. The new (jan 06) rates are equal for nav and non nav for residuals

I could really use some help, my local dealer finally is getting a vehicle in with the options I want except for the ML system. It's the glacier frost mica color with dark interior and they are asking sticker, 39924. That's like 4K over invoice for this car.....what is a fair price? I would like it for around 36 or 37K, I plan to lease it at that price.

I'm getting the same car as you in the next week or so for $2000 off MSRP. I'll be asking for a little more when the car arrives, since a couple other dealers in the area are offering $2500+ off.

The math for lease is real confusing, if the the residua is at 62%, the estimate use of the car is for 15K dollars, they want 576 per month that averages around 20K+ more than what the car is worth at the end.........so confusing

Keep in mind you can negotiate a lease, same as you can a purchase....

thanks for the info.....I think I covered the cap cost thing.....since I negotiaged the price down by 2k from MSRP......which I'm not really satisfied with, but it seems to be the average........now I did do a lease calculator, still have to get the money factor info real time, but from what I have read on the forum, I came up with a general number, but where the math doesn't make sense is, in 36 months the car is still worth 24K at 62% residual, so 37K-24K is 13K, break that down to monthy payments, without tax......361.11 + 30 bucks for tax...so around 400.....am I wrong here?
