2007 Toyota Camry look like an IS??? (does the 3087 Toyota Neo look like the IS)

What's up with that front lip? Is that after market? Looks like it was just stuck on there as an after thought. If it could have been more smoothly integrated into the front bumper, it would have looked better imo.
Doesn't look too much like an IS to me but, considering it's a Camry, it looks pretty good.

the new camry is nice, but i think it only looks a little like the IS.

In my opinion it looks nothing like the IS250/350. Just because the rear lights are horizontal and rap around the corners doesn't mean its looks any thing similar to the IS. There are a lot of cars that have the same lay outs now a days, but this camry has a whole diff shape to it and reminds me nothing of the IS.

lol, for years people complained that Japanese cars don't have brand identity/characteristics like German cars, now they complain the cars look too much alike within a brand. Nothing wrong with Toyota wanting to cast some of the Lexus halo onto the "lesser" Toyota models, they are still family, no? People who buy Lexus look for different things as opposed to getting a Toyota. It's not just appearance alone; there is also the quality of material, performance, prestige, and above all, unsurpassed service. It's better to have Toyota cars that resemble Lexus, than Saabs that look and drive like Chevy.

They also used to complain that the jap cars were copying the design from the
german cars, and now all the 5 series and 7 series Bmws all have japanese
styling...

The front of the Camry reminds me (minus the huge front emblem) of the front of a Scion. I read somewhere that with this new Camry coming out, Toyota expects to sell 500,000 in its first year. . Thats a shxt load of cars. Making it the top selling car manufacturer in the world.
