Default Watched the dealer submit the special order

Thank you all for your support and input. After going back and forth on colors I finally went with my first choice. Black with cashmere, Luxury with 18's, Nav and ML. Watched the dealer type the order into the computer. Guess it goes to Chicago and then to Japan. Build date is March.

We will soon be a 2 Lexus family as my wife drives the RX.

Again thanks to all those who provided their views and pictures.

You did well. You wil just love that car. Ordered it through the Omaha dealer no doubt.. I've spent time in that dealership and was VERY impressed. I'm sure that they take very good car of their customers.

Congrats on ordering your new IS. I was actually just in the Omaha dealership this weekend test driving an IS. I bought a used Infiniti there about a year ago and was extremely impressed with their level of service. They actually offered my wife and I pizza and drinks while we were there. Now thats the way to impress a guy!!

Just out of curiosity, what salesman did you work with?

For the last 7 years we have delt with Pat Wallace. Pat is the perfect salesman for Lexus. My wife bought her RX from him. If you are seriously looking at the IS and you don't have a sales person I'd recommend Pat. Tell him Jim and Sally sent you.

Good luck.

I got BOP, other than that, I ordered the same thing. I hope for both our sakes, they speed up production on the Lux and ML/Nav orders.

Congrats-
Good color choice! I have the black and cashmere also and have had a lot of nive compliments about the color combo.
One word of warning though, the cashmere floor mats are impossible to keep clean.

Here's how you keep it nice and clean the whole year round...

Clear Vinyl Exact Mats

Not bad for about $55...
