I would have kept mine but my wife only lets me have two cars.
As has been said, the S2000 held a lot of groceries and was surprisingly practical for being an impractical 2 seat convertible.
Mine went to a very good new home in Virginia.

To be honest though, it's time to trade it in. When the 4-door VW GTi hits the floor in August, I think it'll be new car time for the wife (I confess, I love GTi's).

The S2000 is a wonderful car. Esp. the F20C.
We had a 2001 Silverstone on Red that I sold after a year and 15K miles for $100 less than I paid for it (less tax, license and registration). Of course, dealers were still getting retarded markups back then.
We then bought a 2002 Spay Yellow Pearl on black (I didn't like the Sebring Silver on the car) because I wanted the glass rear window and drove that for another completely trouble free 15K miles before selling it.
It was a third car and a weekend toy for us but I took it to spring training one year in AZ and it was wonderful. Loud, stiff, noisy, etc. but very visceral to drive. And it got great gas mileage with Honda reliability. And frankly it had the best shifter of any car I've ever owned.
I only sold that when my father had a massive stroke and my parents needed some financial help.
The only reason I didn't buy another one was that I didn't much care for the "improved" 2.2L motor so I got a low mileage, used NSX instead.
I hope you guys with the little motors that could regularly exercise these bad boys and redline them like Sochiro intended.
Keep the shiny side up!

For you former S2k drivers on the east coast who may have participated in the Deal's Gap / Dragonball drives, we plan something similar for the Lexus every year that I'd love to have some new IS's attend. Date TBD for this year, but we'll promote it all over this site once its up and running.
