If you could eek a detailed explanation out of the regional tech, perhaps even something in writing, that would be a huge benefit to other folks concerned about the problem, either directly or indirectly.

dont worry...after about a month of owning my 06 GS i got the same error...turns out it was a bad cam position sensor...1 week later (had to order the part) i was on the road again. No issues to-date on this incredible car

I hate to say it, but that's actually a GOOD thing, particularly because the car feels slower to you. If you go into the dealership and tell them the car feels slower, they'll laugh at you. On the other hand, if you go back in there and show them the lit up Christmas tree (formerly known as your dash), you're going to be taken very seriously. Keep us posted.

The car will feel slower after a computer reset because it must relearn the optimum air fuel and timing settings.

As far as the CEL goes, you are running premium unleaded and making sure you turn the gas cap one click right?

Default Me too, or three...how many is it now?

Mine came on last week. Dealer (Nalley Lexus Atlanta) cannot find the issue. They have reset codes, ordered and installed O2 sensor, run diagnostics...and have not found issue. They say the lights come back on immediately after all tests/fixes. They have stuck me in a Breakwater Blue 250, nice color but torque is terrible. Great gas mileage on 250...my 350 stays at an avarage tank of 18-20 mpg. This 250 is at 26-28mpg. But it has terrible power.

anyhow, this issue seems to be a bug that Lexus attempts to cover up. It really sucks because this is the first thing that has dissapointed me with this car.

Damn, I miss my 350.

Well There is always a lemon in a Batch. Not to say that yours is one of them but if it happens 2 more times with the same problem it will fall into lemon laws.

just get a new car again

Default another CEL issue

I've got a 06 IS250 AWD, and my CEL and Check VSC, red exclamation point lit up like a christmas tree this AM. 11,300 on it.

Took it in, ran the diagnostic, and are sending out the regional techs. They expect to have the car 2-3 weeks. The service manager said there was a TSB now on valve timing and misfires, but I'm hard pressed to find it.

Anyone else have anything further with this issue, I could use some counsel.

Worst part, is they've put me in a 2007 ES 330, very similar to the one my GRANDFATHER just purchased.
