Default I'm in the club!

Well, after lurking for about a month, my silver IS350 w / sport / navi / ML came in today. I just got back from the Lexus dealer! I put a good 40 miles on it and I really am amazed at this car. To bad it was dark and I couldn’t play with any gadgets. I feel like I’m friggen Captain Kurt sitting in the captains chair on the bridge of the enterprise. The ML system almost makes my ears bleed. In 12 cars various stereos (factory or aftermarket), it is stunning for a car.

At this point Im somewhat confused about the performance reviews. I traded in my 04 Sti and the Is already kicks me in the butt without even really opening it up yet. I of course have not driven at 95% but I find the car handles superbly in my given time so far. I actually “feel” like I’m in a better performance car even though it doesn’t match Sti numbers. It actually kind of reminded my of my old S2000's sitting in the cabin.
