does this ever happen to you guys when u touch the handle and ur car beeps 4 times instead of hte normal 2/3 times depending what setting u r on???

Mine only beeps twice. Beeps four times when i press unlock twice to unlock all doors.

I have mine set to unlock all doors on one touch. I've never had it beep more than twice. I have had a couple times where it was a bit slow to recognize the key fob, and I had to keep my hand on the handle for a few seconds before it unlocked. Usually it does it so fast that I can grab the handle and pull the door open in one fluid motion.

i believe that 4 beeps means that the car was jolted when you were parked. Maybe someone opened their door on your car.

I've heard of that on the old aftermarket Pursuit alarm systems, but not the Lexus stock systems

Just curious, but how do you set it to open all doors when I touch the drivers side door handle. I'm tired of opening my car door first and then hitting the door lock button to let the passenger in.

Yes, you do it by chording the buttons on the key fob, and watching the results on the "door open" display on the dash. I don't remember the details, but it's in the manual.

I think it was hold down the lock and unlock buttons on the fob until it beeps. (was it 5 seconds? maybe a little longer, it's been a while)
