Nice quick read and affirming as I too opted for the IS over the 3-Series.
I, however, don't think it's prudent to state that it's unbiased based on the outcome. Should the 3-Series have been chosen over the IS in this review, would the article have lost its impartiality?

Just good to see a magazine rank a car on the sum of all its merits, vice distorting a comparison by weighting the "driving feel" so heavily that the 3 series wins all the time.
