well, as of now i'm a student as the University of Central Florida, majoring in Environmental Engineering (I;m gonna save the planet, and dont feel guilty driving my IS250 with its 26-28 mpg!), i plan on working extensively in power systems and hydrology, developing clean and efficient energy systems so we can use all the gas left to fill up our IS's and take them to the track =)
Since the 10th grade though i was "secretary" for my father's painting business in Harrison, New York -- Property Maintenance Inc. the company was a small business that paints commercial office buildlings, schools, hospitals, even residential. Secretary basically meant i handeled the majority of the paperwork.. taxes, finances, proposals/estimates, and paid the bills.. unfortunately with this recession going on, companies are more concerned with how many employees they have to lay off than how pretty the paint on the walls in the bathrooms are so.. my planss WERE to graduate then take over the business, and open up some sort of environmental R&D section where i improved the paint quality and environmental effects, stuff like that but... now the business looks like its going to shutdown =( too much overhead and not enough work...
for some reason though i feel that environmental engineers are going to be in high demand in 4 years =) climate change is going hard
