Head Room
I am 6'4, and there is not enough head room in teh new IS. I want one badly though. Does anyone know if there is a way to get the seat any lower than it goes from the factory? I only need about 2-3 more inches clearance. If it were my legs, I would just have surgery to make them shorter, but it is my torso, and the surgery might hurt!
Thanks,
Rick

Cut the top 2" of your head off it won't hurt really it won't!
No really, try putting seat all the way down and leaning the back of the seat way back. I think that's all you can do. It works...my brother is 6' 51/2" and drove a Porche 911 this way for 12 years. Good Luck because that "IS Fever" is strong and tough to shake, huh?

Sure the head room is not the best quality of the IS. I am 1m85 and I feel it's the limit for this car if you don't want to drive without leaning the back of the seat way back too far.

I am 6'4" also and there is enough head room. I don't seem to have a problem at all. I just "gangsta" lean my seat back and it is just fine, but I guess its what I am used too since in my G35 coupe I was basically sitting in the back seat so the IS seems really spacious to me.

Don't get the sunroof. It takes about 2 inches of headroom away. I'm 6 feet and had no trouble in the demo without a sunroof and in my car my hair touches the "holy *****" handle sometimes (can't figure out why they put one of these on the drivers side - hello.... you should be hanging on to the steering wheel!!). I like the back of my seat quite upright though - if that wasn't the case I'd be fine.

I'm 6'3 and don't have any trouble in this car -- I think it has to do with your ratio of torso height to leg length. If I could pick anything it would be for a little more leg room, as my knees do sometimes bump the steering wheel.

I'm 6' and have no problem at all. I think the seats can drop down if I remember correctly. But I do have a little bit of a gangsta lean going and I have plenty of head room.
