You know, you could've used +36 offset on the rear (with clearance) and had at least a 69mm lip rather than the 56mm lip that you currently have. That's if you care about the deep-lip look
I always use the following site to get sizes, offsets and lip-depth info:

For the IS, you can get away with the mid-type offsets.

thats nice, i do want an IS but now money is kinda on the tight side now, was gonna trade in the camry for the 2nd gen. GS (01-03), but cant do that now, so in the process in fixin up the toyota. but i do like your IS red or black in the new IS is my favorite. why dont they come back with the solar yellow IS color? why was it discontinued?

[QUOTE=huge.eug]Here's some pics of my IS350 with the GS wheels with my snow tires on them:
I thought the gs rims were only 18*8? doesnt the rear of the IS need 18*8.5 to clear the rear brakes? if not this is something I would consider for mine. also, does the IS tire pressure monitor work with these rims?

Yeah, the GS rims are all 18 x 8. No problem fitting the rears though. Besides, I think the IS350 brakes are the same as the GS430 anyways. Because of the difference in the OEM sizes, went with 225/40 in front, and 225/45 in the rears to keep the same overall wheel/tire diameter.
I bought a 2nd set of tire pressure monitors from the my.is store. Of note, when my dealer installed them, we discovered the monitors did not come with the appropriate retaining bolt to keep them on the wheel - those ended up costing another $10/piece - on top of the already hefty $650+ for the sensors. But in the end, once they were in, no problem with them.
Now that I've had them on the car for awhile, I'm starting to like them better than the original IS wheels (with my summer tires). The finish is much more striking than the IS OEMs.

So what would have happened if you put 40 series using 225 front and 255 rear?
