I wonder why Lexus DIDN'T put LED tail lights on the IS??? I guess for 07?

Anyway...has anyone swapped the bulbs for LED's?

the 250 didnt get it but the 350 did.

I think both the 250 and 350 got LED tail lights.

I agree, I think they have LED's, especially the inner set of red lights. I could be wrong but they seem to be more visible, two LED's per case. I was looking at them last night.

really? i've seen a 250 at night and 350 at night and the "suddenness" of the lights coming on are different. Unless i'm completely off base...but i thought the 350 got the LED's

Yea, both IS 250 and 350 have the LED tail lights. I have a 250 and when i brake, they light up quick. Has anyone noticed that when u brake, it doesn't light up until like u push the brake in about 1/4 or maybe even 1/3 the way in. It doesnt light up when u just tap it in a lil bit. Coz i notice it at night when people drive behind me, when i push the brake i dont see the reflection of red on the car until i push it in about 1/3 the way. Sometimes when i brake, i dont even push it in hard coz i want to slow down gradually and it doesn't even light up, the people behind might think my tail lights dont work.

maybe it's something they can adjust...on my GS i'd say mine travels like .25" and it lights up.

I've noticed the same problem. It really is kind of annoying I can get my car to stand still and not move with the brakes but the lights are not on. Whats the point of LED brake lights when they dont even come on instantly when you step on the brake pedal.

You can feel slight braking and the lights arnt lit up.

Edit: N/M I just noticed you replied to my thread already. Did you ever get the brake light issue resolved with your dealer or anything?
