Yes, I perfectly understand your position. Sometimes wheel companies post larger size (or altered Photoshop versions) wheels to enhance the look of their wheels in promotional pictures. The problem with that is that sometimes when you get the wheel in a smaller size, the look of the wheel which you fell in love with is totally lost The best way to avoid any of these problems is to check the wheels on the size you want to buy them BEFORE making the purchase, that way you know that you're getting the same "look" you fell in love with.

In this case the above applies because the letter G wheels I chopped on the IS are actually what appear to be 22s on a BMW 745 and the sample pic of the same wheel appears to be 16" or 17". I did alter the size to make them look smaller, but the "look" is not lost. I would love to see the wheel in 20" to see if it retains the same "look".

Hey Mario, the Dropstars wheels just came out less than a month ago, so information in terms of pricing/shops is limited. If you want to know more about these wheels, go to www.dropstars.com and you will find out a little bit more and maybe send them an e-mail, so they can provide you with information about the wheels.

I will try to do some chops for you on those colors and with chrome wheels, but which wheels can you recommend me to chop?? Let me know what brands/styles of wheels you want to see.

Chrome is just a wheel finish; like brushed aluminum, black chrome, etc. Just because a person gets chrome wheels doesn't mean they're "ghetto". I think that chrome wheels will look good on an IS depending on the style of the wheel you get, but that's just my personal opinion and I don't expect everybody to feel the same way. If you don't like chrome wheels, what kind of wheel would you like for me to chop on the IS to see if it looks any better?

Hey mtlis250, those wheels look a lot like the Asanti AF-128s I posted on this thread. I like the type of wheel, but for my personal taste I would've gone with a larger diameter wheel. I think they look good but would look better if they were bigger If you have any wheel suggestions, let me know so I can try to chop them!!!

I gotta be a grinch one this and say I don't really care for any of the available choices - they just lack a certain "something". The only rims that don't look like total cr*p to me are option "G"

Default to Alex350

I did not get these wheels for the IS, It was the winter wheels I bought a couple years ago for my BMW 330 CI .

I sold the car but I did keep the wheels ( M3 replica 17 inchs with 205/50/17 AVS winter tires ).

I have them on just for winter !

Have a nice day to all !

Yes, big size forged wheels cost a fortune to purchase I wish they were a bit cheaper...
