Default Gallons remaining when fuel light comes on?

If anyone with a manual can be bothered, I believe the relevant info. is on page 329. The online .pdf's don't include this page.

[SARCASM +10]I wasn't really going for the universal average, but more for the actual number the manual quotes [/SARCASM +10]

Just so you know filling up before half full allows floating partical to collect in the tank and this can gum up your fuel filter when you try and go on a short trip and need to burn past a half tank to reach the next town, its better to let the tank down under 1/4 tank before fueling up keeps you from totaly fouling you fuel filter in one shot..

HUH? I've never heard this before, more than anything, I've heard keep at least a half tank in your car when temperatures are at or below freezing. For fear of the build-up of condensation?

two things...first its great that you sound concerned about ou fellow members....but your wrong...our cars just like any other new car out there wont need a service on a fuel filter for at least 70k or more...plus the fuel pump has a filter on it to block unwanted particles then there is another fuel filter downstream right b4 the fuel rail...you would have a higher chance of blowing all four tires b4 your fuel filter goes....just an insight...but what you shouldnt do is fill up after the gas tanker??? has just refilled the gas station...even though there is a filter on the gas that come through the pump its just safer i guess

Right, it makes no sense. Otherwise every time you filled up the sediment would get stirred up and you'd eventually wind up with a clogged fuel filter.
