Actually the Infiniti that I think has a better back-up camera than the IS is the M - their midsized sports sedan. The M's camera superimposes distance lines and a direction indicator box on the image. It makes it much easier to see where you car going and how far away you are from things. The M35 was one of the cars I drove when looking for a new car:

Easily one of the best reviews I've read on this car yet!

What didn't you like about the Legacy GT? I'm guessing not enough luxury items because I know the Legacy GT is fast and fun to drive.

Rumor has it that Subaru is adding a 6MT, seat memory, HID's, aux. Input, among other changes for 2007.

Yes, it was the lack of amenities that really brought down the Legacy from contention. That and the so-so exterior styling. It was super fun to drive, but the IS just seemed like another class of car by comparison. But if I was spending less than $35k on a car I'd get the Legacy GT, hands down.

thanks for the epinions review. could you comment on the ride and tires you have I assume you have 18 " wheels. Did you test drive with 18's or 17's. Do you feel a difference. What tire pressure do you set you tires on ect? Thanks

My car has the 18" wheels as did the other 2 IS350s I test drove. Honestly, I did not see any single IS350 in my arear that did not have the 18" wheels. The minimum configuration I was was with the Premium+ package which includes the 18" wheels and had an MSRP of $38k or so. I've kept the stock tires on the car and have not changed the pressure from how the car was delivered to me.
