Yet another wheel question
If I order 18x8.5 with 35mm offset for all 4 corners (Using the 255 rubber), will I have fitment issues? (Caliper clearance in particular)
I also figured that maybe I could run 18x7.5 with the stock 225/40R18 front rubber if I had to...
The wheels that I am looking at are 35mm offset and only available in 18x7.5 and 18x8.5...
I am looking at these:

Any insight?

I don't think you can put a 255 size tire up front on the new IS(why would you want to??), I'm pretty sure someone will chime in with the correct offsets you can used.

It's gonna be close but I think it will stick out and if it does, you'll have rubbing issues when you drop your ride. Do a test fit first before ordering just to make sure it clears BBK on the front. Good luck.

Yeah, I will probably end up using the stock size rubber on 18x7.5 for the fronts.
Re: Cost. These are cheap they are $214 each for the 18x7.5 and $224 each for the 18x8.5.
If I order these I will also probably see if I can order a fitting OEM Lexus center cap set for them too. (Not sure if it exists in the right size and finish, but it I can get something that fits and matches the wheels, I will).
I will see if I can get a local shop to order these in, that way they can turn around and sell them to someone else if it turns out they don't fit.
