New wheels!!!!! I got rid of the ASA 19"s because they were ugly.
New wheels are as follows:
Stern St-II
Front 20x8.5 offset-32 lip size 2.75"
Rear 20x9.5 offset-35 lip size 3.50"

Tires
Front and Rear- Falken 452's 245/35/20. The rear is slightly stretched.
They did rub but not anymore with a little time with the heat gun.

Ill take more pics tommorrow its was getting late when i put them on.

check out the lip

All that white stuff on my wheels is just the mounting goop they used.... This pic was fresh outa the tire shop.

FWIW.....

The total for the tires was $860 and included everything, plus an unconditional flat tire replacement all the way around. So if I get a flat and it can't be repaired, they install a new tire at no cost.....America's Tire did it for me and did a very professional job and it took about an hour. Good people for sure....

Maybe it's just the "goop" but it looks like a scratch at the top of the wheel in the last pic.

Hey bud, did you mean that your front is a 18x8.5 with a 42 offset? Also, any rubbing issues?
Thanks,
Peter

I was looking for a clean look and i beleive these wheels where the right choice, besides it seems that no one else had them on an IS (im not counting the Enkei IS http://www.enkei.co.jp/webmagazine/a...ket/index.html). My second choice was the AME FS-01, since they are also made by Enkei.

The other reason i chose the GTC01 was the weight. Only 23 pounds, i didnt want to loose performance, also they are built with a special technology that makes them strong.

One curious feature is the 2 air valves per wheel, since they are race oriented, they include it (for those of you who dont know what are 2 air valves used for in racing.... i didnt knew, one of the valves is used to fill air and the other for a preasure meter at the same time, so its really fast and efficient to get the right amount of air into the wheels, but i guess ill never use that feature)

I just installed them yesterday and the more i see the car with them the more im liking it.

Hope to get better pictures later and post them.
