How's this lease sound?
I'm bouncing back and forth on leasing my wife's next car. It's either going to be an IS250 or an A4. Anyone care to take a stab at what they think about this offer from Audi? This is for an A4 with the sunroot/premium pkg (WPX Premium Package
Includes HomeLink universal remote transmitter, rain sensor, power front passenger seat, heated front seats, auto-dimming interior and exterior rear-view mirrors, power folding exterior mirrors, compass, 17" wheels and 235/45R17 all-season tires, sunroot, leather).
Purchase price is 32,544
Residual 56%
36 months
15,000 miles per year
$409/month
Using the same down payment structure as the special ad (2300 plus tax, tags and processing fee) (the special ad being referred to is the current A4 lease special of $369/mo for 10k miles, 36mo for a base A4 w/auto and sunroof).

Yeah... now where did I put that $50 grand in cash I'd misplaced? Don't recall. I'll just go grab another 50 out of the kitty.
Cars are high on my list of enjoyments, but low on my list of areas for large outlays of cash. I'd prefer to make monthly payments as my income allows and invest more heavily for my retirement.

Sounds about right in terms of payment, but..... GO WITH THE LEXUS EVEN IF IT IS MORE!!!
I am actually receiving my IS 350 today. I traded in my 2005 Audi S4 in for it.
A few things about Audi:
When its not in the shop, it sure is/was fun to drive. It was all around faster than the IS 350 (straight line, around turns, in every way) The lexus is more of a luxury car.
That being said mine was an S4, yours in an A4. My mother has an A4 and it is boring as hell (sorry to dissapoint you)
Lexus advantages:
Seats
Radio
Looks
Gas Mileage
QUALITY!!!!
A4 Advantages:
A little faster in a straight line
Handling (if youre getting a quattro)
Free maintanance
Hope this helps

Attention.....attention. There is no such thing as 'free' maintenance. You pay for it one way or the other. It's included in the price, or, like BMW, the stretch out oil changes to 15,000 miles so the cost to them is next to nothing. There really is no free lunch.
A few months ago I stopped by the BMW dealer and they had hang tags on their cars saying the cost savings for the free maintenance program compared to Lexus was about $1,100. Believe me, that $1,100, or a large part of it, is included in the BMW price you pay.
