I tried searching the forums for this, but I couldn't find anything about it. There's this soft, high-pitched chirping noise coming from the engine when the car is in idle. Is this normal? It's nothing crazy...but it has me a little concerned. You can't hear it at all inside, but if you step outside the car, then you can hear it.

 

do a search. you'll find it's the injectors.

 

my bad. apparently searching for engine noise wasn't as effective as searching for injectors. if only i knew =P. Thanks! now i can worry a little less
