when I hit transfer on the NAV screen my phone disconnects from the car.
What am I doing wrong? I hear some people can only transfer one number at a time, but I cannot evenget that far.
I dont know if it mattters but my phone is a Nkia 8801 and yes it is bluetooth.
Thanks in advance.

Your phone does the transfering. You need to initiate it from the phone via a menu (Send Contacts at least that's the name on my Sony Ericsson), after you put the IS into transfer mode.

My IS350 did the same thing, but I just continued through the phone menu (Motorals V600) and when I hit the send number button, it immediately reconnected with the NAV unit and accepted the number. Sucks doing it one number at a time. Only certain phones allow you to send the entire phone book. My Motorola is one at a time.
Good Luck. . .
