Default Rules for making DVD MP3 for Mark Levinson

Ok I have made a few CD mp3 disks for my Mark Levinson system so far and everything works fine. Now what have you all done to get a MP3 DVD to work properly, if you can include Nero Burning Rom settings that would be great, and thank you. !

I think there is a software called Photo2DVD which lets you author a DVD with a lot of input formats including mp3.

I never tried it myself.

SO what you are saying is that the DVD data mode (liek the CD data mode) does not work with the Mark Levinson system and you have to author a DVD like it was a video dvd?

Easiest way to answer your question: burn a single MP3 onto a few dvd's using a variety of authoring methods and see if any work

yeah i am pretty sure data dvd (like a disk with files) will not work in the car as it would in the computer.
you probably will have to create a video dvd but with mp3s being the data on it.
i never done it.

Yes, the ML system is not playing MP3 DVD's. MP3 CD's only.

So far I've tried burning HFS+, ISO, and UDF format DVD's. None work. The disc just spins in the drive and never mounts.

This is a major issue Lexus should address...

It would be an issue if they claimed it workedm but they never did say that it did. The manual actually lists all supported discs/audio formats, and MP3 DVD IS NOT listed. So there's not much that can be done.

Well if one is looking at the car and sees the "lame" MP3 and WMA logos one could assume they mean for any disk inserted into the system.. but oh well.
