yeah the 19 and up sizes add cost and detract from the classiness and ride quality. because the rims are STAGGERED is a minor pita but I suppose worth it. does anyone know if 9 inch width in front with 18s will rub?

These were really the only ones that I found that are a good make that are available in chrome and won't be like the big huge blingy fan looking wheels. (No offense to anyone that has wheels like that, but for the 2IS I just think it would be WAY too much.)

good post. someone REALLY should make a sticky for reliable rim shops. many of these online huts dont have a clue if the rims they sell will really fit your car.

I think 9" is probably the max width for wheels, it was on the IS300 anyway. Anything larger then that and you'd have to roll some fenders. Anybody have anything wider on the 2IS?

some people have 20x10 wheels on 2IS, 9.5" is probably the highest one should go since 275 is the widest tire 2IS people have attempted, I dont see any benefit of going to 10" width when 275 will fit fine on 9.5" width

I would go for 20x9.5 to have more protection for my wheels. But the advantage of having 20x10 is you have bigger lips for a better stagger look "if" you have wheels with lips.

19 is already winning by a landslide, 20" is not going to make a comeback

well i spoke to the company that makes them and they say that i can get 19x8.5 all around with a 2 in lip in the front and a 21/2 in lip in the rear, i think that is a little to big of a lip in the front what do you think,

but to answer your question since they are 3 piece wheels i guess they can adjust the trim and offset to whatever specs they see fit
